DEWAR’S 19 Year Old whisky The Champion’s Edition: A Toast to the Game

To honour this great championship, each year DEWAR’S releases DEWAR’S 19 Year Old Whisky The Champion’s Edition, a limited edition tribute to the host course, the legacy of the tournament, and a homage to the iconic 19th hole. Expertly crafted by DEWAR’S six-time World’s Best Master Blender, Stephanie Macleod, each new edition explores a new finish that both elevates the expression and tells a deeper story of the prestige of the US Open and the craftsmanship of DEWAR’S.
 
Created to celebrate the 2026 US Open at Shinnecock Hills, this year’s edition is finished in Cabernet Franc casks from the renowned Wölffer Estate vineyard on Long Island, NY. These casks bring red fruit, gentle spice, and a long, balanced finish, delivering a release worthy of continuing the legacy of mastery on the course and in our craft.

A Twist on Tradition:
The Lemon Wedge

Whether following at home or on the course, the US Open experience isn’t complete without a DEWAR’S Lemon Wedge, the Official Cocktail of the US Open. It’s no surprise it has become such a fan favourite. Crafted with award-winning DEWAR’S 12 Year Old, lemonade, and club soda, it’s a bright, effortless serve to accompany the championship.

HOW TO MAKE

THE LEMON WEDGE

Ingredients
  • 45 ml DEWAR'S 12 YEAR OLD WHISKY
  • 60 ml LEMONADE
  • 90 ml SODA WATER
Directions
  • Combine DEWAR’S 12 Year Old and lemonade in a highball glass over ice.
  • Top with chilled soda water and stir.
  • Garnish with a lemon wedge.
